You know the pattern by now; maybe it’s the note home from the teacher, or the same hard transition every single morning. School-based ABA from Spectrum Achievers ABA puts support directly where the struggle actually is, inside the classroom, not just in an after-school session that never quite connects back.
We started this center because we’re parents of a child with autism, and we got tired of watching school and therapy operate like two separate worlds that never talked to each other. Our school-based team is the fix for that specific problem.
A BCBA learns the specific routines and goals that matter in your child’s classroom first, whatever that looks like for your kid, before anyone sets foot in the room. From there, a trained RBT or BCBA works directly with your child during the school day, coordinating with the teacher and staff as they go.
Nobody’s dropping in a generic behavior plan and hoping it fits. It’s built around this classroom, this teacher, this kid.
Plenty of kids do well one-on-one at home or in a clinic and still hit a wall in a full classroom with less individual attention and a lot more happening at once. School-based support closes that specific gap, in the place where it actually shows up.
If your child already works with us, at our Paramus clinic or through home-based sessions, school-based support isn’t a separate program bolted on top. Same BCBA, same plan, just extended into the school day so the goals don’t fragment across settings.
A school day already has a lot of people in it, teachers, aides, sometimes a whole child study team. We’re there to support that team, not step on it. We’re actively building relationships with districts across Bergen County and working toward formal approval to provide ABA services in NJ school settings.
We’re family-founded, not a franchise, and one BCBA-led team follows your child across every setting, center, home, daycare, school, community, wherever they spend their time. There’s no waitlist here, and our Spanish-speaking staff means bilingual families get the same level of support from the first phone call.
School-age kids working on behavior, communication, or independence goals who need that support to actually show up during the school day, not just after it. Also a strong fit for families who already want one team overseeing things at home, at our clinic, and now at school.
We’re currently working with families roughly within a 30-minute drive of our Paramus clinic:

Usually. Most major commercial insurance plans cover school-based ABA when it is medically necessary. We confirm your specific plan before starting.
Yes, and we mean that literally; our BCBAs stay in contact with the school team so strategies match up instead of contradicting each other.
We’re actively working toward formal approval and already have relationships with districts across Bergen County. Reach out for the current status in your specific district.
In most cases, yes, one BCBA follows the case across settings.
Early childhood through school age.
Reach out through the application page or call us directly. We’ll look at your child’s current services and the school situation, then a BCBA builds a plan around it.
